Detailed description
Who are we?
We are a cozy group with 10 older clients with a serious mental disability. These people function at an age of 0 to 3 years. Three of them can talk and the rest make sounds. Most clients are completely dependent on our care and guidance. Outside the house there are 6 clients in a wheelchair and the others walk with a walker. This makes it impossible for the staff to all go out at the same time. That's why we would love it if volunteers sign up to help us.
The clients like to go to our church at our residential care park. They experience the service in their own way. One sings along and the other suddenly experiences peace. You don't have to be religious to enjoy our clients enjoying themselves.
What do we ask?
We are looking for a sweet, fun volunteer (s) who can come to church with us at least once a month / maximum every Sunday between 10:00-12:00. Someone who is physically fit to push a wheelchair or offer a client an arm. Do you have an affinity with our target group and do you have time to spare on Sunday morning? Then come and see how such a service works without obligation. Several volunteers are welcome, so come along with your neighbor or friend!

Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
