Who are we?
The Villa day care offers day care for people with an intellectual disability from 's Heeren Loo. The building is located just outside the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo. There are 5 groups with a fixed number of clients. The level and age of the clients vary, but most clients have a mild intellectual disability, comparable to that of a primary school age. They are guided in the activities by the supervisors who work there. Most clients are mobile and a few are in a wheelchair or use a walker. The work ranges from industrial work to candle making. All adapted to the level of our clients. Given the crowds, we would really appreciate support in providing coffee/tea and lunch every morning from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
What do we ask?
We are looking for one or more volunteers to join our team!
Someone who comes from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (or a number of days) to help prepare and clean up the coffee and tea cart. And preparing and cleaning up lunch. Possibly together with a client who would like to help. Someone who enjoys doing something and who can work independently. You help us enormously! The guidance of the clients is for the supervisors who work there.

Thanks to the many volunteers from 'Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and provide personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
