Who is Door?
Door is a friendly, sweet lady of 77 years old with a mild intellectual disability. She lives in a residential group at the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo, where she receives 24-hour care. She has a sense of humor, likes to be there for others and loves socializing and having a chat. She is easy to understand and she can clearly indicate what she wants. She walks with a walker and rides a tricycle. Her hobbies are Diamond painting, crafting, painting, shopping and cycling. She would like to go out with a volunteer, that would make her very happy!
What is Door asking?
Door would like to meet a volunteer who comes especially for her. Someone who is friendly and loving. Who, like her, also has a sense of humor and is up for a chat. She could and would really like to meet once or twice a month in the morning, at noon, in the evening or in the weekend. Together to the store or the thrift store, have lunch somewhere or a cup of coffee; for example in our Brasserie or somewhere else or do some nice crafting. Would you like to come and meet us without obligation to see if we click?
