Detailed description
Restart Network is a non-profit on a mission to expand educational opportunity through a pioneering model for education: The Crowdsourced Tech School. We connect communities to make world-class tech education available tuition-free for people from refugee, minority, and low-income backgrounds.
During the coding program we put our students face-to-face with an outstanding line-up of engineers, entrepreneurs, and technologists that give talks with a contagious passion for what they do. Do you work at an cool tech company or do you make social impact with your start-up?
We're always looking for inspiring people to share their experience with our students! Don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
About RE/START
Restart Network is a non-profit on a mission to accelerate meaningful diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. We believe that true diversity leads to stronger teams, stronger companies, and better results, in a better world.
We empower refugees and underrepresented minorities in tech, like mothers who raised kids and want to start a new career, by bringing together key stakeholders in cities to build brick-and-mortar schools with a different view on how learning should look like. We call this model the Crowdsourced School.
We run a tuition-free one-year long program and guide our students to become their best selves while learning the fundamentals of web development. Our campus, at CIC Rotterdam, is surrounded by more than 120 tech companies. We rally together industry leaders to create an outstanding learning experience.
