About Oxford Swans Swimming Club

What is Swans?
Oxford Swans has been teaching swimming to children and adults with disabilities for 40 years. We are a friendly and supportive club. We do a lot of one-to-one work and group activity in the water.

We swim at Ferry Pool, Summertown on Saturday mornings, and at Leys Pool, Blackbird Leys on Tuesday evenings.

Who volunteers?
Anyone can help, you don’t have to be a proficient swimmer. Just an interest in swimming and helping is needed. The club can teach you all you need to know.

Anyone who has an interest in volunteering is encouraged to join. You could be doing your Duke of Edinburgh, want a new challenge or simply have a couple of hours spare to help out.
