As a member of the regional board, you are the point of contact for the discussion groups and coordinate them.

What are you going to do?

As the face of the NVA in the Gelderland Region, you promote the mission: giving a voice to people with autism and their loved ones. You manage the discussion groups and support discussion leaders in their valuable role. You are also the first point of contact for questions from discussion leaders.

Your tasks include conducting job interviews with new volunteers, regularly consulting with the Regional Coordinator for Patient Contact, and actively participating in regional board meetings. If requested, you will support the regional board with various activities in the region.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, it is important that you are familiar with the vision and mission of the NVA. Experience with autism, whether it comes from personal experience or from your family situation/work, is a valuable addition.

Your attitude is essential. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and wants to commit to an autism-friendly society. A positive approach, integrity, and respectful communication characterize your approach. You are able to work both independently and in a team, where accurate, reliable and structured working are natural qualities of you.

As a Board Member (Discussion Group Coordinator) you are willing to become a member of the NVA, if you are not already one. It is also important that you live in the region and that availability in terms of hours can be discussed.

Are you excited?
