Volunteer with us to support an Energy Efficiency Simulation through Data Entry and Photography roles!

Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience in programme operations and event documentation? Join us as a volunteer for Powering The Future 2026 and play an important role in supporting an energy efficiency simulation programme that empowers students to learn about energy conservation.

We are looking for volunteers for these locations & times: 

  • Melaka: 12th July to 17th July (Program days would be from Monday to Friday)
  • We would be travelling to Melaka on Sunday (12th July) and return on Friday (17th July).
  • ⚠️ Priority will be given to volunteers based in Melaka and those who are able to drive.

Roles and Responsibilities:

💻 Data Entry 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with programme registration and attendance tracking.
  • Record and organise participant data accurately.
  • Support administrative and operational tasks throughout the programme.
  • Ensure data is updated and submitted according to programme requirements.
  • Work closely with the programme team to maintain smooth operations.

📸 Photographer

Responsibilities:

  • Capture photos of programme activities, participants, and key moments.
  • Document the overall programme experience for reporting and promotional purposes.
  • Assist in organising and submitting photo files after each programme day.
  • Work alongside the programme team to ensure important activities are well documented.

Requirements

  • Responsible, organised, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fast-paced and quick learner.
  • Willingness to support programme operations throughout the event.
  • Preferably able to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Preferably university students from Melaka or Kuala Lumpur.

📍 Programme execution will take place across the following districts:

  • Alor Gajah
  • Jasin

Note: Data Entry and Photography Volunteers are required to be present throughout the programme but will not be involved in facilitating student activities.
