Helping the volunteers with:

• Dinner on holidays such as Christmas and Easter

The unaffordable commitment of all volunteers deserves a good approach, which is why the activity supervisor acts as coordinator. She conducts orienting talks with aspiring volunteers and provides information about the organization's objective and care vision. In this interview, attention is paid to the possibilities of the organization and those of the volunteer.

From 2017 onwards, volunteers will also contribute to strengthening the client's own direction. The volunteer does not do what the client himself can do. The volunteer helps where necessary and gets a more coordinating task.

St. Francis has taken out a third party accident insurance policy for the volunteers. The volunteers are kept informed of developments in and around Huize St. Franciscus via De Keuvelaer - the monthly information sheet - and via Information Bulletins. They also have a weekly volunteer consultation with agenda and minutes.
