It Red Cross provides first aid at events. Grant in Rotterdam-Rijnmond our volunteers, for example, help with the Marathon Rotterdam, the Ladies Run, Rotterdam Unlimited and many small weekly events. The district has the ambition to maintain and expand the market share and one professionalisation. A challenge in a moving aid market.
To this To achieve goal we are looking for a temporary force for six months helps organize event assistance for current events and to work on improving processes.

- 4-8 hours per week at the Rotterdam office
Position in the organization
Rotterdam-Rijnmond is one of the 25 districts of the Red Cross in the Netherlands and consists of the four departments Goeree-Overflakkee, Nieuwe Waterweg Noord, Rotterdam and Voorne Wells. In addition to about 1000 volunteers, there is a team of ten professionals active in the district.
The
support employee event assistance supports the event support coordinator
Activities and responsibilities:
- Helps the event support coordinator
organization of assistance at events in the Rotterdam department
(preparation, execution, completion and evaluation of events). Will be true
Possibly pick up small events from start to finish.
- Supporting the Coordinator in improving
the processes
- Execution of all administrative work of
event help such as time registration and annual planning.
- Contact with client about our services
- Contact with volunteers (giving information, calling etc.)
To complete these tasks we can expect in terms of training:
- MBO + work and thinking level.
For this function we are looking for someone who:
- Immediately usable and work quickly acquired
makes
- Experience with project management and / or
events management
- An all-rounder that switches easily between
different work and

volunteers
- Can organize well, is flexible and very accurate
