The Red Cross would not be anywhere without the help of volunteers. That is why we are looking for a board member portfolio Fundraising & Communication who voluntarily wants to free 4 - 6 hours per week on average to help people in need or in a vulnerable situation.

What are you going to do?
You stimulate departments within the district to raise local funds and possibly jointly approach sponsors or partners. You share best practices in the field of collection, KICI clothing collection, Serious Request, international emergency relief campaigns and / or international projects. A matter of seeing and using opportunities where you position the Red Cross as DE emergency relief organization in the Netherlands. Monitoring and testing content and progress of work plans in the area of fundraising and communication is also part of your job responsibilities. This is a crucial first step to strengthen the internal organization.
