Detailed description
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will start on September 14 with a large multiplayer game on the future of humanitarian aid. The game will be played entirely via Whatsapp. The content of the game, the messages from young people worldwide, will be used to improve and renew the assistance of the Red Cross. Your vision counts!
The following themes will be discussed: WhatCulture, WhatPolitics, WhatEnvironment and WhatTechnology. These topics will be discussed in interactive WhatsApp conferences using video, audio and photo material. As a Dutch team you jointly tackle multiple challenges. All contact with the team will then also go via WhatsApp, so it does not matter where you live in the Netherlands! A concrete example of such a challenge is, for example, creating a fictitious news item / advertisement about the biggest challenges in the year 2030. Or a future responder challenge that brainstormed about the character of a major humanitarian operation of the Red Cross in 2030. & nbsp ;
The Bulgarian Red Cross invented a scenario in which 20,000 drones played a prominent role. The Kenyan Red Cross also wondered whether we could blame (such) machines for any work-related accidents. Such issues can be discussed extensively in the Whatsapp group.
"What are the problems and opportunities in your local community and how can the Red Cross best adapt to this in the future? "Are the leading questions during the game. WhatFutures will last a total of 10 consecutive days. & Nbsp;
