Meneer Droogsma is op zoek naar iemand die het leuk vindt om samen met hem te koken. Iemand die hem wat gezelligheid brengt.

Meneer Droogsma (80) vindt het fijn om te wandelen, te koken en hij houdt van honden. Nog niet zo lang geleden is zijn vrouw overleden en hoewel zijn (klein)kinderen hem met regelmaat bezoeken zou hij best wat meer hulp en contact kunnen gebruiken. Sinds meneer Droogsma een aantal jaar geleden een herseninfarct heeft gehad, vindt hij het lastig om initiatief te nemen tot het doen van leuke dingen of om nieuwe dingen te bedenken. Het koken gaat sindsdien ook niet meer omdat meneer het allemaal wat minder goed kan zien en dat kan gevaarlijk zijn in combinatie met de kookplaat.
