Wild shelter De Bonte Piet in Midwoud aims to receive and care for wild indigenous protected animals that have run into problems in any way whatsoever. This includes traffic victims, young animals abandoned by their parents, sick animals, botulism victims, etc. To achieve this, we have access to a great team of 45 enthusiastic volunteers and interns who are available 7 days a week for the animals Every year, more than 4,200 injured, sick and young animals come to the shelter.
