On Monday afternoons in odd-numbered weeks, we play lawn bowls with our residents. Volunteers are always welcome to help out.
Do you enjoy playing games? And do you enjoy helping residents play? Then lawn bowls might be just the thing for you. In the afternoon, you'll set up supplies together, pick up residents, and serve coffee and tea to residents who are playing. Scores are counted. You'll share the tasks to make it a fun and enjoyable afternoon, and you can even throw a ball yourself...which seems easy, but it's actually quite a feat.
Day: Monday afternoon twice a month in odd weeks.
Time: 1:30 pm to 4:15 pm.
