At Buurtbuik West, lunch is always cooked on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. Fight food waste and bring people together!
At Buurtbuik West, lunch is always cooked on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. The program looks like this:
- 09:00 - 11:00: Pick up the products from our regular suppliers with the tricycle (by the coordinators of the day)
- 11:00 - 15:00: Cooking a 3 course vegetarian meal, eating with our guests and cleaning up.
The guests come to eat at 13 o'clock and then we also have a bite to eat and then we clean everything up again. All the food that is left over we hand out to the guests. So nothing really has to be wasted! We cook in the restaurant of Buurtcentrum de Horizon in the Spaarndammerbuurt (Hembrugstraat 156).
