Ons Honk is a meeting place in Apeldoorn South where local residents meet, have a meal and various activities take place with a very nice professional kitchen.
Every Wednesday evening we cook a delicious hot meal. Residents from the south register to come and have a nice meal with us. Our volunteers serve approximately 15 local residents on Wednesday evenings. We start preparing the meal at approximately 4:00 PM and eat at 5:30 PM. Our local residents eat with us from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Our goal is not commercial, it is to connect people and have a nice meal together.
We are looking for a volunteer chef who wants to cook with us. We cook on Wednesday evenings and working hours are from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We offer good guidance and you work together in and with a nice group of volunteers.
Your duties will include preparing meals, cooking and then tidying up and cleaning.
As a volunteer cook you meet the following requirements;
• Affinity with cooking
• Work hygienically
• Enjoy being in contact with people
• Being able to keep appointments
• Flexibility
We prefer candidates with previous experience as a chef.

The goal of the neighborhood cooperative is to support the residents of South Apeldoorn in promoting their self-reliance and taking control in the areas of housing, participation, welfare and care.
To represent the interests of people living in Apeldoorn South with an existing or future "care demand", both towards the Municipality of Apeldoorn and towards care or welfare providers and health insurers.
The neighborhood cooperative stimulates and invites residents of Apeldoorn South to become involved and participate at street and neighborhood level. Supported by professional organizations and volunteers.
