Vacancy: host/hostess
Ons Honk is a meeting place at Sperwerlaan 18 in Apeldoorn-zuid where local residents meet, have a meal and various activities take place.
The host/hostess takes care of our local residents who come to us. He/she ensures that the community center is a pleasant place for local residents to visit, eat and participate in activities. He/she stimulates these activities and works together with other volunteers.
Our goal is not commercial, it is to connect people and have fun together.
We are looking for several volunteer host/hostess. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and/or on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Together we will determine which working hours and working days you would like to help us with.
We offer good guidance and you work together in and with a nice group of volunteers.
Your tasks will include receiving local residents, serving coffee/tea/drinks, playing games or having a nice chat with someone, setting the table, cleaning up and possibly participating in various activities such as cake baking, flower arranging, bingo, etc.
As a volunteer host/hostess you meet the following requirements;
• Have a listening ear for our local residents
• Be hospitable
• Able to work independently
• Enjoy being in contact with people
• Being able to keep appointments
• Flexibility

The goal of the neighborhood cooperative is to support the residents of South Apeldoorn in promoting their self-reliance and taking control in the areas of housing, participation, welfare and care.
To represent the interests of people living in Apeldoorn South with an existing or future "care demand", both towards the Municipality of Apeldoorn and towards care or welfare providers and health insurers.
The neighborhood cooperative stimulates and invites residents of Apeldoorn South to become involved and participate at street and neighborhood level. Supported by professional organizations and volunteers.
