We are looking for a volunteer cook for Wednesday during the day, Wednesday evening and Friday during the day who wants to cook with us.

Ons Honk is a meeting place in Apeldoorn South where local residents meet, have a meal and various activities take place.
We have had a very nice professional kitchen for 2 years now.
Every day we cook a delicious hot meal. Residents from the south register to come and have a nice meal with us. Our volunteers serve approximately 15/30 local residents during the day and approximately 12 people on Wednesday evenings.
During the day we start preparing the meal for that day at 9 a.m. and eat at 12 noon. Our local residents eat with us from 12:00 to 13:00.
On Wednesday evening we start cooking at about 4:00 PM and eat from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Then we clean up and do the dishes and we are done around 7:00/7:30 PM.
Our goal is not commercial, it is to connect people and have fun eating together.
We are looking for a volunteer cook for Wednesday during the day, Wednesday evening and Friday during the day who wants to cook with us. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM during the day and from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the evening.
We are looking for several chefs, so you can also alternate in terms of days/times.
We offer good guidance and you work together in and with a nice group of volunteers.
Your duties will include preparing meals, cooking and then tidying up and cleaning.
As a volunteer cook you meet the following requirements;
• Affinity with cooking
• Available on Wednesday and/or Friday
• Work hygienically
• Enjoy being in contact with people
• Being able to keep appointments
• Flexibility
We prefer candidates with previous experience as a chef.
