Stray Waste Packers (ZAPpers) are people who voluntarily commit themselves to a clean living environment by tackling litter in various ways: by 'clean walking' in the forest or in the city, by 'plogging' or by cleaning a street. adopt, alone or with a group of residents,
You can work as a ZAPper in various ways.
This activity is about the "Street adoption" in Apeldoorn
Many people are annoyed by litter and dog poop on the street. We can continue to be irritated, but we can also take action and roll up our sleeves.
Under the heading 'Adopt your street', residents can register by email ( zerowasteapeldoorn@gmail.com or Rein@apeldoorn.nl ) to adopt a street or (part of) a neighborhood and keep it clean and free of litter , at your leisure and when it suits you, alone or in the company of friends and/or neighbors.
Since January 2019, hundreds of streets have already been adopted! More than 200 residents have volunteered to keep their street/neighborhood clean of litter!
Do you also want to participate?
-Check the map and indicate (by email) in which street (park, neighborhood...) you want to work.
-In collaboration with Heel Apeldoorn Rein, you will receive the necessary items within a few days: waste grabber(s), vests) and waste bags to clean up litter.
-Waste bag full? Send an email to us or directly to rein@apeldoorn.nl to have the full Apeldoorn Rein waste bag collected.
⇨ Have you already adopted a street/district and would you like to submit an adjustment to your clean-up route;
⇨ do you need new waste bags and/or clean-up items;
⇨ or do you want to release your adopted street again and return your borrowed clean-up items?
