Eethuis Suryana, een aanwinst voor Veenendaal!


Één zaterdag in de maand is Eethuis Suryana open. Hier worden heerlijke Syrische gerechten gekookt door Syrische statushouders die in Veenendaal wonen.


In Veenendaal woont een behoorlijke groep Syrische statushouders die aan het inburgeren zijn. Zij willen tegelijkertijd graag hun talenten ontwikkelen, Nederlanders ontmoeten en zich inzetten voor Veenendaal. Een betaalde baan is voorlopig niet mogelijk. Daarom hebben Reinaerde en Netwerk voor Jou de handen ineengeslagen om de droom van deze statushouders te verwezenlijken: een Syrisch restaurant in Veenendaal.


Zaterdag 18 maart 2017 opende Suryana haar deuren. Wethouder Nermina Kundić heeft de opening verricht.


Wilt u kennismaken met de Syrische keuken? Welkom! Er is plek voor maximaal 40 gasten dus schrijf u snel in! Of kom helpen koken en maak meteen een aantal uren voor je maatshappelijke diensttijd!


Schrijf je in voor de deed, vermeld je naam en je leeftijd.
