Which organization will you be deploying to?

The Sociale Kruidenier is a supermarket and meeting place for Amsterdammers with a tight trade fair. Customers can go to the Social Grocery Store for, among other things, non-food products at a small price, as a supplement to the emergency package from the Food Bank. Clients themselves choose what is needed and in this way maintain control. In addition, there is room for meeting at the coffee table, financial office hours and courses.

What are you going to do?

With this Deed you have a lot of contact and you learn a lot of skills that come with (social) entrepreneurship. It is also possible to only take on one of the two tasks.

1. Organizing focus groups: the customer is central to the Social Grocery. That is why it is important for them that they regularly ask for the opinion of the customer, for example in the form of a focus group or questionnaire.
2. Scaling up collection campaigns for the Social Grocery: products are collected by volunteers at supermarkets, among others. For this, the Social Grocer wants to put together a pool of volunteers and supermarkets, so that they can collect more products on a structural basis. In addition, they want to be able to involve donors of products in a more sustainable way with the Social Grocery Store (for example: by collecting email addresses during a collection campaign).

In addition to being enthusiastic about the mission and vision of the Social Grocer, it is important that you can and want to work independently and that you are entrepreneurial.

When are you going to do this?

The Social Grocery Store is open to customers on Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You can organize your working hours yourself. The start and end date are in consultation.
