In the week of 17 to 21 August, YMCA Zoetermeer organizes a cabin construction week for children between 6 and 12 years old and you can join as a supervisor!
What can you do?
For this cabin week we are still looking for volunteers who would like to help out at the construction village all week. As a supervisor you help with a group of about 7 children to build their own hut, while ensuring that the structure is put firmly, and you also keep an eye on the safety of the children.
Who are you?
- You have experience and / or affinity with guiding children aged 6-12 (or want to get that experience!)
- You guide children in building huts and in sports and play activities in the afternoon
- An enthusiastic and educational attitude
- You enjoy working with other volunteers
what do you get from us?
We offer a nice working environment in a special location, lots of nice colleagues, enthusiastic children who can give you a unique week of building huts. You will also learn a lot from guiding the children and working together with the other volunteers.
Travel expenses to the site can be reimbursed, lunch is included. And any other expenses are also reimbursed. There is no fixed volunteer allowance.
