Detailed description
The youth organization YMCA is looking for young enthusiasts for the 'teamwork' project who want to work in a team to (learn to) organize meetings between volunteers, initiate exchanges, and investigate what the volunteers actually want.
The core activities for this project are: exchange, organizing meetings and research. In other words, you become the spider in the web of the organization and know how to captivate and bind volunteers!
Who are we looking for and what are you going to do? (Or: Who are you?)
Are you that social animal that likes to bring people together and sees the importance of exchange between volunteers? And are you at least 16 years old, and do you think it would be a great challenge to stimulate the exchange between volunteers at a national level in your team.
You assess the need and organize online and physical events to initiate exchanges between the YMCA volunteers.
What else do you learn in this team? (Or: what do you get from us?)
Together you have the goal to bring the volunteers of YMCA together and connect them even more strongly. You do this by devising and organizing cool and appealing activities. You learn to research, think creatively, organize and lead.
That will help you make better choices for the future. And you gain skills that are also important in the labor market.
How much time does it take?
On average, it will probably take you about 1 or 2 hours per week, but in practice it will probably take place a little more in a bundle, for example through an online consultation or by carrying out an exchange.
The Connection Team consists of young people spread throughout the Netherlands. You mostly work together online, occasionally you have meetings or activities on location, then you have to be prepared to travel to that place.
What does Project: Teamwork do?
YMCA Teamwork organizes a training where you can deepen your knowledge of these skills. You gain knowledge about the entire process, from planning to implementation.
