The Work Heart Make Art Foundation (WHMA) believes that all young people should be given the opportunity to gain new skills, knowledge and experience in the art and culture sector. We do this by means of innovative, creative projects in which young people are inspired and stimulated to use their talents and qualities. Jungle in the Sky (JITS) is a corona-proof festival in Hoorn that will be organized from WHMA in the summer of 2021.

As an offline marketing & PR employee you help to make the foundation and the accompanying festival JITS visible offline. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience for later and to learn from professionals! We have engaged a marketing agency that takes the lead, and you help from our foundation. Together we will see which assignments you like to do. Think of establishing contacts with (media) partners (are there any newspapers that want to promote us?), But also think of arranging posters or merchandise.

It helps if you dare to take initiative and / or enjoy developing yourself in this. We have a preference for someone between 14-27 years old and you can be linked to a development process (MDT) so that you receive an official certificate for participation afterwards. The MDT process is special, because it is especially for young people and you are helped to discover your talent and strength. So you learn, develop and gain experience for your CV. We are driven to organize something cool, with which we can give something back to society. In addition, we are a small and friendly team where there is always room for extra help.
