Male companion for our male residents

We are looking for a volunteer for our male residents who would like to offer them company and undertake fun activities with them.

What does the role entail?

• Spending time with our male residents by, for example, talking together, playing a game or taking a walk.

• Offering a listening ear and creating a pleasant atmosphere.

• Doing activities together that give our residents pleasure and relaxation.

Who are we looking for?

• A man who feels involved with the elderly and finds social contact important.

• Someone with patience, humor and a friendly appearance.

• Available at flexible times, depending on your schedule and the wishes of our residents.

What do we offer?

• Satisfaction and beautiful moments through contact with our residents.

You don't have to be able to come at a fixed time. For volunteer work we prefer at least 1x per month and preferably 1x per week.

Location:

The Breezicht residential care location is located in Oud-IJmuiden.

Close to the sea, the locks, the fortress island and the harbour! About 110 residents live here.

As soon as you enter the house you will immediately feel a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

In general, residents with a malfunctioning brain, also known as dementia, live here.
