Are you a handyman with a heart for people? We are looking for a volunteer who likes to work with wood, hammer and nails, together with a resident.
Are you a handyman with a heart for people? We are looking for a volunteer who likes to work with wood, hammer and nails, and who enjoys doing small jobs around our garden house together with residents.
What are you going to do?
– Small woodworking projects (repairing benches, making birdhouses, etc.)
– Odd jobs and maintenance around the garden house.
– Assisting residents in helping out – working together on something tangible.
What are we asking?
– Handiness with tools and odd jobs.
– Patience, humor and a social attitude.
– Want to work together with residents who would like to make a difference again.

Location:
The Breezicht residential care location is located in Oud-IJmuiden.
Close to the sea, the locks, the fortress island and the harbour! About 110 residents live here.
As soon as you enter the house you will immediately feel a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere.
In general, residents with a malfunctioning brain, also known as dementia, live here.
At Breezicht we provide a warm living environment where everyone feels at home.
We offer personal care, structure and activities that suit our residents. With a lot of attention for peace, safety and quality of life.
