We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who enjoys going on bike rides with a resident!
What does the role entail?
• Going out with a resident on the tandem bicycle.
• Enjoy the fresh outdoor air and beautiful routes in the area.
• Have a nice chat and ensure an enjoyable experience during the ride.
Who are we looking for?
• A sporty and friendly person who likes to be outdoors.
• Someone with patience and a social heart, who enjoys contact with the elderly.
• Flexible availability, depending on the residents' wishes and your schedule.
What do we offer?
• The opportunity to share valuable moments and contribute to the well-being of our residents.

• Much appreciation and the satisfaction of making someone's day a little more beautiful.
You don't have to be able to come at a fixed time. For volunteer work we prefer at least 1x per month and preferably 1x per week.

Location:
The Breezicht residential care location is located in Oud-IJmuiden.
Close to the sea, the locks, the fortress island and the harbour! About 110 residents live here.
As soon as you enter the house you will immediately feel a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere.
In general, residents with a malfunctioning brain, also known as dementia, live here.
At Breezicht we provide a warm living environment where everyone feels at home.
We offer personal care, structure and activities that suit our residents. With a lot of attention for peace, safety and quality of life.
