Editor-in-Chief of the Newsletter of the De Naald Neighborhood Council

As editor-in-chief of the newsletter, you are ultimately responsible for the content of our thrice-yearly print magazine. You chair editorial meetings, gather article suggestions, and present them to the editorial team in consultation. You also actively contribute to the magazine's content, gather suitable visual material (while respecting copyright and GDPR), and edit the articles. You also create the publication schedule and oversee pre-press by consulting with and directing the magazine's designer. All of this takes place in close consultation with the board, represented by the PR/Communications board member.

As editor-in-chief of the newsletter:

• Do you have organizational talent?

• Can you coach and inspire the other editors?

• Can you delegate tasks?

• Are you able to edit texts?

• Do you have a smooth and easy-to-read writing style?

• Are you interested in the past and present of our neighborhood and do you have an eye for the issues that concern residents?
