Board member wanted for the Osseveld-Woudhuis District Council

The District Council is looking for support in the Public Domain and Social Affairs portfolios. Board members of the Osseveld-Woudhuis District Council are committed to our beautiful neighborhood on a voluntary basis. A neighborhood that is in full development and where all ages are well represented. Your enthusiasm, your interest in board work and a heart for your own neighborhood are important to be able to do this voluntary work with great pleasure.

The District Council has divided its tasks into portfolios. Your most important (consultation) partners are local residents, the municipality of Apeldoorn. But the work area also puts you in touch with our shopkeepers' association, IVN, Teuge airport. Current for the next two years: tunnel under Laan van Osseveld. In short, a varied field of work in which the current board members will naturally guide you.

The Osseveld-Woudhuis Neighborhood Council is a valued discussion partner for the municipality and we let you hear (and read) solicited and unsolicited when it concerns our neighborhood interests. The Neighborhood Council aims to be a good discussion partner and advocate for our residents and has an eye and ear for what is happening or will be happening in the neighbourhood. We are an energetic team.

You will soon be part of this team. Every month we meet on the second Monday of the month for the board meeting. In the week before that, the executive board meets. There are a number of (ad hoc) meetings throughout the month. You will notice that you will receive a warm welcome. You learn a lot about your own neighborhood and the neighborhoods around you, the 'municipal apparatus' and you make new contacts inside and outside the neighbourhood.
