We are Wereldwinkel Wageningen “De Uitbuyt”. We sell gifts from all kinds of cultures and honest food. All our products are fair trade, organic or recycled. Do you want to contribute to fair world trade and a cleaner world? Or would you just like to be in a gift shop? Then we are looking for you!

Job description:

You enjoy selling products to customers. You want to be in our store. First together with a colleague to train you, later possibly independently. You enjoy paying for gifts for the customers and, with pleasure, you wrap them nicely for them. You also clear orders, replenish stocks, price products, keep the store tidy and do other common chores. You speak and read Dutch and a little English is useful. It is nice if you can come a fixed part of the day during the week. (For the time being the shop is still closed on Thursdays, but with more volunteers we can also open again on Thursdays.)

Job requirements:

You are friendly, representative and professional. You are available part of the day a week. You speak and understand Dutch reasonably well.

What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:

The atmosphere in our store is relaxed and we have time for a chat with the customer. We notice that people consciously come to buy a gift from us. They know that this is how they help the maker of the product. The Wereldwinkel employees are volunteers. We are a small, friendly team. We are ready for expansion. Together we determine how we run the store. Besides sales, there are other tasks that we have divided among ourselves, according to everyone's talents and skills.

Working time:

9:30 am to 1:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm (on Saturday until 5:30 pm)
