Welwonen in Enkhuizen is looking for a coordinator for the lunch group for the Huis van de Buurt IJsselzand on Thursday.
Every Thursday there is a lunch in the Huis van de Buurt (in the community center) IJsselzand in Enkhuizen. People come to lunch for socializing. For many people, it is sometimes the only outing during the week. Visitors do not have to register in advance. They can just join. The table is set for about 20 people. Everyone who eats with them pays a small amount. Every week we provide something surprising on the table. Healthy eating is paramount and at the end of the meal there is fruit. The visitors are very diverse, often older ladies and gentlemen, but often also adults of a younger age. The group of volunteers consists of five people. We are looking for someone who wants to manage the volunteer group.
Activities are:
- provide lunch together with the other volunteers
- directing the other volunteers
- manage the greenhouse
- keep an overview
- maintain contact with social worker about the progress of the lunch activity
With guidance and good coordination, not every volunteer needs to be there every week. If only lunch comes on the table. There is freedom within the group to determine things for yourself. For example, which groceries are needed and how the table is arranged and set. It is a fun activity and every week there are nice people at the table.
