Who can deal well with primary school students and likes to provide educational lessons about measuring and knowing?
The Libra Museum in Naarden teaches arithmetic to primary schools. The lessons are given in groups of a maximum of 5 children in various rooms in the museum. For example, with the help of the witch weighing house from 1714, people learn to calculate with weights. This is learning goal 23 from primary education. The children are allowed to use the historical weighing house and the weights under supervision. The scale is demonstrated in the garrison bakery with the aid of a moving calibration train. The intention is that the museum will make a structural contribution to improving arithmetic and math skills. If there is a structural demand, an expense allowance is available.
