Technical support:
- Provide technical support to staff and other departments
Project management:
- Hire, train, and schedule technical staff
Budgeting:
- Create and manage budgets
Equipment:
- Oversee the acquisition, use, and maintenance of technology

- Monitor and evaluate software program
Security:
- Identify and implement data security solutions
Technology research:
- Stay current on technological advancements
Communication:
- Update executives on technology use, needs, and budget
Technical quality:
- Ensure the quality of pictures and sound
Production:
- Develop strategies to manage audio and visual aspects of production
