Civic Amsterdam is looking for several people with knowledge of financial and administrative matters who want to work as a volunteer for people with debts.
A budget buddy encourages a local resident to open his or her mail, clarifies difficult letters, looks at the preparation of a budget plan and gives tips to improve the financial housekeeping. This creates order in the financial situation: that is the start of the solution to financial problems.
Job description
• Practical help with forms and letters, organize administration
• Finding and pointing the way to authorities together
• Being a confidential adviser
• Supervising contact with professional care provider (s) and municipal authorities
• Promote self-solving ability
Working hours
Minimum 1 day part, times in consultation
