Monday afternoon - Counter volunteer #Meedoenbalie AZC de Keijenbergseweg

Every Monday from 15:30 to 17:00 pm you and a colleague run the #joining desk. As a result, asylum seekers can participate in Wageningen society from day one. By doing volunteer work, but also through social activities such as sports and coffee mornings in the city. They can also participate in language lessons to learn Dutch right away.

What are you going to do?

At the reception desk you speak to residents of the AZC every week, they explain which activities they can register for and you look together with the resident what is most suitable for them. Then you check the subscription form on readability & completeness and give it to another volunteer who puts it in Excel.

Working hours:

Monday from 15:15 am to 17:15 pm.

What do we ask?

You can work in a culturally sensitive way, you speak English and you can deal with a dynamic work environment. You can work independently. In addition, you will participate in a monthly team meeting at a time to be determined.

What do we offer you?

A varied workplace in which you work independently. You are well trained. You can ask your questions to the project manager. There is a monthly team meeting where you can make your contribution. Twice a year we have a nice meeting to thank you and to meet other volunteers.
