Summary
As a buddy, you regularly meet with the participant to drink coffee, chat or do something together (remotely!).
Detailed description
For a man who is registered with us, we are looking for a male buddy who can master the basic skills of sign language. The gentleman is deaf and communicates through sign language. Mister likes to drink coffee, watch football or have lunch together.
Mister is one of our participants waiting for a buddy like you! Our participants are 18+, have a psychological vulnerability, live independently or with supervision and are looking for social contacts. As a buddy you indicate what your wishes are in the contact and what times are appropriate for you. A match will be made based on your preferences. It is a nice, social contact for both!
Knowledge of psychiatry is not a requirement, you will be linked to one of the coordinators for the necessary guidance. We regularly offer our volunteers (without obligation) interesting, fun activities to get to know each other and to gain knowledge about psychiatry.
