Communication and social media manager

Voyage seeks an experience individual who can assist Voyage with is communication and social media strategies to ensure effective promotion of the charities work across London. We are looking for someone who can contribute their time, knowledge skills and awareness of communications and social media to boost our organisational profile to enable effective communication of our work. This is a part time post with flexible opportunities to work from the office and remotely. Voyage struggles to undertake this work as much of our energy goes into running and delivering sessions and fund raising and without effective communication strategies in place we will find it hard to move beyond our current existence.

Our communications and social media manager will to help spread the word, assist the profile and positioning of the organisation and shine an even bigger light on the issues we seek to transform in London and in society as a whole.

About the role:

you’ll be responsible for shaping, creating and leading on VOYAGE’s overall communications strategy. In tandem with this ensuring we engage effectively with all stakeholders – both internally and externally. We hope interested individuals can bring some PR skills, excellent social media awareness and hopefully connect us to networks of media and press contacts that will help to ensure VOYAGE is promoted in an engaging and influential way. Your connectedness to our cause, your passion and commitment to wanting see changes will help us to drive forward our fundraising and recruitment campaigns which:

• Aim to raise a diversity of incomes and commissioning opportunity 

• increase our marketability

• create more media interest and build awareness of our brand

• utilizes all relevant forms of media and brings these to bare on our work
