The Vogelhospitaal is a shelter for wild birds that temporarily need (medical) help. About 4000 birds per year are taken care of, cared for and released back into the wild as soon as possible.

Do you have two right hands and want to do some odd jobs now and then? We regularly have jobs such as painting and carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electricity and maintenance jobs on our property and work in the garden.
Training is not necessary, but work experience is.
The Vogelhospitaal in Haarlem Noord is located in an old farm that has been transformed into a modern hospital. Of course, regular maintenance is required and there are many chores to do. Several bird cages and ponds also need to be built. A reasonable amount of available tools and machines can be used for the work.
On Wednesdays, several handymen are present who work on our construction project in the Badhuis and the ponds. So if you can go on Wednesdays, that's so cozy and practical! But there is also plenty to do on the other days.
