Intaker/judge testing standard

What are you going to do?

Immediately after a person or household reports to the Food Bank (or is referred), the intake begins. The intaker/assessor contacts the person seeking help and indicates which (financial) information is required to assess whether the person seeking help is eligible.

Based on the nationally established assessment criteria, the intake officer assesses whether or not a person seeking help is eligible. The outcome of the assessment is discussed with the person seeking help.

During the intake and later during a re-intake, additional solutions for the (financial) problems are sought together with the intake officer and, where possible, referrals are made to expert care providers.

Estimated time required: 1 to 2 half days per week.

We ask:

· Minimum MBO level of thinking

· Financial background

· Experience with the use of (online) software packages

· Affinity or experience with social work

· Social skills (our clients may have a language deficit)

· Good communication skills

· Able to deal with privacy-sensitive information

A versatile role in a socially committed organization. You work independently, but always in collaboration with the board and other volunteers.

The position is available immediately.

Parts of the induction period include:

- a training session in which the Assessment Criteria are explained and clarified,

- an application for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
