Organizational talent wanted! End of year meeting for refugees

Refugee Under Dak (VOD) stands up for refugees whose first request for asylum has been rejected and who are therefore no longer allowed to live in the asylum seeker center. VOD provides shelter, living allowance and legal and social guidance.

Volunteer End of Year Meeting (one-off)

December is coming again and we would like to organize an end-of-year meeting for our clients. They often have no family in the Netherlands, a small social network and an even smaller budget, but they deserve a happy holiday just like everyone else!

Would you like to prepare and implement the End-of-Year Meeting with us? The date for the meeting is Friday December 22, time will follow. We will soon hold a meeting with the volunteers to divide tasks among themselves.

Consider, for example: Shopping in advance, decorating the room, cooking together with the refugees, eating together, etc. But also: collecting items and putting together Christmas packages, with which we want to surprise our clients!

In short, we are looking for people who:

• Have an affinity with refugees, undocumented migrants and Refugee Under Dak;
• Enjoy arranging and organizing;
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and social;
• At least a few moments are available in December.
