Are you joining our Events/PR team? We are looking for people to organize fun events and actions, update social media, write newsletters, etc.
The VOD Events/PR team:
Do you enjoy organizing meetings, fun activities or other events? Do you like writing social media updates, a newsletter or press release? Or do you have ideas about how we can put the work of VOD more in the spotlight?
Vluchteling Onder Dak is looking for volunteers who, as part of a small and close-knit team, want to work on promoting our organization. This with the aim of recruiting new volunteers and promoting the organization to the wider public.
Tasks of the Volunteer Promotion/PR/Communication are:
- Organizing meetings such as a joint meal, meeting café, open day, lecture about the work of VOD, etc.;
- Promoting Refugee Shelter during events such as the Liberation Festival or the Molenmarkt;
- Co-writing social media updates, the newsletter, press releases, etc.
- Actively participating in and proposing promotional activities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Affinity with refugees, undocumented people and Refugee Shelter;
- Enjoys arranging and organizing;
- Enthusiastic, creative and driven;
- Has good communication skills;
- Able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Flexible and available on call.
