Animal enclosure volunteer

What are you going to do?

It involves 3 goats and 4 quails. You feed the animals and ensure their enclosures are clean. You can work alone or with colleagues. If you enjoy it, you can do the work together with the residents. You work according to a schedule in which you can indicate your own preferences.

For the moment, demand is mainly on Mondays and Fridays.

What do we ask of you?

You love animals and have a practical mindset. An affinity with the elderly target group is preferred but not a requirement. You are able and willing to work independently. For proper care of the animals, it is important that you are reliable and can adhere to agreements made. A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) no older than 3 months must be submitted. The organization can also apply for this on your behalf (free of charge).

What do we have to offer you?

Guidance and support from the Welfare and Activation Coordinator and the caretaker. Annual training, volunteer appreciation event, and end-of-year gift. Reimbursement of travel expenses.

What makes the work worthwhile?

You contribute to a well-maintained animal pasture that makes the animals and the elderly very happy.

Working hours

Saturday and Sunday mornings in the odd weeks.

Volunteers are also welcome on other days.
