Administration for Each Other / Home Administration - Gooise Meren

We offer help with administration in 2 ways; during weekly consultation hours and at people's homes.

Our goal is to teach people to independently handle administration, mail and filling in papers. Our volunteers work independently in one-to-one contact, are digitally skilled, knowledgeable and are willing to learn about municipal regulations, IND applications, allowances, etc. Support is provided by social workers and social legal services from Versa Welzijn, they are at office hours. present and responsible for the correct implementation of the aid.

We work on the basis of equality with our customers and volunteers, in a relaxed and accessible atmosphere.

During the consultation hours, we work in a volunteer team. Volunteers are linked to one client (2 per consultation hour). The questions are diverse and challenging. Volunteer and client work together on an application or document, this is possible by linking the volunteer's laptop to a keyboard and screen for the client. Involvement of the customer and the learning effect is stimulated in this way.

In the home situation, the help is often needed more structurally and there is a link to one regular customer as long as the help is needed. Weekly contact is desirable in some situations. This is always discussed by the accompanying social worker with the volunteer and client, who also follows the progress process.
