Vacancy: Treasurer – Association Het Droomhuis (volunteer position)
About the Dream House Association
The Het Droomhuis Association was founded to support a parent-led initiative for children with disabilities who require 24-hour care. Since opening in 2007, we have offered a safe, welcoming, and future-proof living environment in the Wageningen region.
Our seven residents – four of whom have been with us since the very beginning – are represented by parents or relatives at the General Assembly. The board is made up of dedicated volunteers from outside the organization.
To keep our organization financially healthy, we are looking for a new Treasurer : someone with an eye for detail, a sense of responsibility, and a passion for our mission.
About The Dream House
The Dream House was founded on the parents' desire to create a sustainable, loving, and well-organized living environment for their child. We collaborate closely with healthcare providers, municipalities, and real estate partners.

What will you do as Treasurer?
You'll be responsible for the association's financial management and play a key role in ensuring its continuity. You'll collaborate with other board members and contribute ideas on both daily operations and future plans.
Your duties will include:
- Maintaining financial administration (e-bookkeeping)
- Preparation of the annual accounts and the annual financial report
- Monitoring income and expenditure
- Advising the board on financial choices and prospects
- Annual consultation with the healthcare provider about the budget
Who are we looking for?
- Affinity with numbers and finance (experience as a treasurer or accountant is an advantage)
- Involvement with the target group, or willingness to develop it
- Integrity, accuracy and reliability
- Available for an average of 4 hours per week and periodic consultation
- Willingness to volunteer for a longer period of time
