The successor to the successful "Village Guide in Het Hogeland" course, which was previously offered in the spring of 2023, will begin on Tuesday, October 29th.
Detailed description
Course leaders are the experienced guides from Winsum, led by Jan Bijsterveld and Peterina Geertsema who last time trained over 30 Hogelandsters as village guides. A large number of them have now set up their own village walking practice, including in Sauwerd, Adorp, Baflo, Eenrum, Rasquert, Warffum, Zoutkamp, Tinallinge, Uithuizermeeden and Uithuizen.
All these guides with their village walks are available online. After this course you can also be listed on this website!
From October 29, the course will be given on five Tuesday evenings in the Wieshoes in Warffum. The course is free and is offered by the Vrijwilligersacademie – a partnership of Stichting Werk op Maat, Mensenwerk het Hogeland and Vakland het Hogeland.
It is recommended to also bring enthusiastic villagers along to set up a guide organization together!
