UNICEF has a mission: To ensure that every country respects and respects the rights of children as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This is the best assignment you can get and that UNICEF wants to carry out as well as possible together with governments, companies, individuals and children. UNICEF Breda also contributes to the objectives of UNICEF Netherlands through fundraising, events and information. With this unpaid but priceless work, we want to contribute to the well-being of children all over the world!
What Does a Fundraiser Do?
As a fundraiser you actively look for sponsors from the business world and you organize campaigns to raise money. You identify and create opportunities and take action there. You call, email and visit existing relationships and build new relationships to tell them what their contribution has meant or could mean for the rights of children. You inspire and ensure that our relations feel maximally valued and involved. You will also attend networking events to encourage people to take action for the rights of children. You are actively expanding the network.
Who are we looking for?
People who are passionate about the rights of children and who want to volunteer for a few hours a month with the regional team. You have a positive attitude and strong communication skills. You also easily make contact with different types of people and you are an entertaining discussion partner. You inspire and inspire people to contribute to the rights of children. You also have excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch.
