HOPE worldwide Malaysia is an internationally affiliated, nonprofit, non-governmental and non-religious charity organization established in Malaysia in 2000.
Under the pillar of Education, the MY Reading Program was established in 2008. The objective is to provide a fun and lively learning environment that fosters children's interest in reading and builds a foundation for English literacy. The target beneficiaries are Children and Youths from low-income families.
Learning Goal : To strengthen children's English Literacy from phonics learning to reading.
The Program Agenda
3:00 pm - Welcome and introduction Ice-breaking activities
3:30 pm - Main Lesson - Words of the Day conducted by the Program Facilitator. Break into groups, to practice the phonics and reading guided by volunteer mentors
4:30 pm - Games
5:00 pm - Group Photo
