Drivers wanted

Have you always wanted to do volunteer work, do you enjoy driving a car and do you easily make contact with young people from different backgrounds? Then we are looking for you.

We are a sports project that supports young people, during 3 months, in finding work and / or school through rugby. During this project we give young people the skills to get a grip on their own lives.

An important part of the project is; that the young people are picked up at home and taken home again. In connection with young people who are scattered around, as well as expanding our services, we are eager for volunteers to help transport the young people.

You will pick up the youngsters at home. No specific knowledge is required, but preferably you have an affinity with young people between the ages of 16 and 26 and take the trouble to get to know the person behind the labels.

The work will always start and end at the rugby club in Hilversum, where a bus is available. The young people come from all over North Holland, so the location of the work may vary.The work takes place on Monday, Wednesday and / or Friday, in the morning between 7:30 and 9:00 and in the afternoon from 3:00 to 16:00 : 30.

We expect to need a driver in and around Hilversum from April 1 to May 1

Opportunities for Volunteers are always made on the basis of individual agreements following a (no-obligation) conversation.

Pay attention:

-VOG is mandatory (costs are reimbursed)

-You have patience and find it a challenge to motivate young people, even if they don't feel like it for a while.
