If you want to gain an unforgettable experience in a developing country such as Cape Verde, Travel2Connect offers you this opportunity. You can volunteer on various projects. We are looking for people who are motivated and adventurous? You are also looking for a valuable travel experience or a meaningful interpretation of your life. You are between 18 and 70+ years old and have affinity or experience in the field of education, care or welfare.
Who are we?
Travel2Connect is a small-scale social enterprise that offers interns and volunteers the opportunity - if you are open to it - to learn from another culture. We put you in direct contact with the local inhabitants of Gambia, Cape Verde or Senegal. We strive for you to have an authentic and unique experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Activities:
Various activities depending on interest and chosen project.
We ask:
* You are at least 18 years old on the departure date.
* You are physically and mentally healthy.
* You are patient, flexible, reliable and interested in other cultures.
* You have affinity or experience in education, healthcare or welfare.
* There is a registration procedure.
We offer:
* Interesting projects from which you will learn a lot.
* Good preparation in the Netherlands and guidance in Cape Verde.
* Pick up service from the airport.
* Introduction day in Cape Verde.
* A lodging address that serves as a home base where the volunteer can go with questions and relax.
* Various possibilities for excursions.
Time use:
Flexible start dates can be adjusted to your agenda and time allocation in consultation.
