Travel2Connect is a small-scale social enterprise that offers interns and volunteers the opportunity - if you are open to it - to learn from another culture. We put you in direct contact with the local inhabitants of Gambia or Senegal. We strive for you to have an authentic and unique experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Do you find it a challenge to volunteer on a nursery, primary or secondary school project in a developing country such as The Gambia or Senegal? Then the basis is always supporting or giving English or French lessons. It is important to first get used to the culture and to a different way of teaching, which is why you watch the first few days. Depending on your level of English or French, enthusiasm and commitment, you will become more independent and you will have the opportunity to offer support in other subjects or to pass this on to the children.
We ask
* You are at least 18 years old on the departure date.
